1. Tea Can Help You Build Stronger Bones:
Osteoporosis poses a serious threat, especially to women. Research has shown that drinking 4 to 6 cups of tea a day can enhance bone formation and strength. Some studies even reported that women 50 and older who drank green tea regularly had suffered 30% fewer hip fractures compared with those who did not.

2. Tea and Hot Flashes:
Caffeine consumption is associated with more severe hot flashes and night sweats, according to a recent study. It suggests that limiting caffeine intake may be helpful to menopausal women who are troubled by these symptoms. To do that cut down on caffeine-rich sodas and substitute tea for coffee. Why? Because tea, especially green and white tea, delivers 3-5 times less caffeine per cup (while still providing a whole range of other health benefits).

3. Steep and Sip to Stave Off Depression:
Clinical studies show that women who drank tea regularly had only one third the risk of suffering from depression compared with those who did not. The mood-lifting qualities of tea — about 90 percent of the women were green tea drinkers — may possibly be related to its uniquely high content of the amino acid theanine.

I read that caffeine slows the breakdown of the hormones in the Pill in the body. That’s one of the reasons I switched from coffee to tea because tea has half as much caffeine so I feel it is safer for me.
